This bag isn't 1lb 4.7oz as it says on the website but is actually 1lb 15oz in the stuff sack. The stuff sack doesn't provide any compression meaning this bag is HUGE and not really suitable for backpacking, especially given that it's not actually ultralight (lots of cheaper options in the 2lb weight category). The first indicator that mistakes had been made is the size of the box it came in, which would have been large enough to hold my entire backpack and all of my hiking supplies.
I wonder if she ever realized that the sleeping bag comes in a storage sack, not a compression sack.
If the person who reviewed this first read properly she would see that in the specs it list the weight as 1lbs 14.7oz. I hope she gets glasses so she doesn’t think a bear is a dog on the hike. I’ve had the men’s version of this for years and it packs up easily into my osprey backpack. I was looking at the women’s one as a gift and had to figure out why the reviews were so low. This is an amazing sleeping bag, nice and toasty in 40° weather like the other review stated.
As advertised. I would probably want a liner under 35 degrees or so but this is nice and toasty for 40s
