The first step to towing an axle-mounted bike trailer is ensuring your thru axle can accept a hitch. The Burley Thru Axle adapter installs fast on your 12mm thru-axle bike, so you can get rolling.
- This is required to make your 12mm thru axle bike compatible with a hitch (sold separately); without it, stock thru axles are unable to accommodate axle-mounted hitch systems
- Quick and easy one-time installation with a 5mm hex key and 17mm wrench (tools not included)
- External male threading on the end allows a hitch to be attached
