REI is constantly evaluating prospective new physical retail locations in like-minded communities and outdoor recreation destinations. If you would like to suggest a particular site for consideration, please note the following priorities and contact the broker assigned to the territory. REI does not accept solicitations directly.

  • Ample parking
  • Prominent building visibility and signage opportunities
  • Convenient multimodal access (car, bicycle, transit, pedestrian)
  • Complementary to the REI Co-op Brand
  • Natural light (windows and skylights)
  • Built (or upgraded) in accordance with REI’s environmental and energy efficiency standards
  • Loading dock preferred
