Poor Quality - Stay Away

I wanted to love this so much, but just returned from ONE day of resort skiing in it and the velcro cuff strap is already noticeably fraying. This is one day, no falls, only putting a gauntlet glove over it maybe 5-6 times. That is laughable quality for the price of this shell.

no powder skirt = useless

I have a 2019 Arcteryx rush jacket that I love. However, some half wit at the company thought it would be a good idea to remove the powder skirt. I bought a Rush jacket but returned it as soon as I found this out. If you like the brand, then got to get the Sabre instead. Please fire that person and bring back the powder skirts on next year’s model

Perfect snowboarding jacket

This was my very first Arc'teryx piece and I am blown away! I bought the jacket with the intention of resort snowboarding and it has been exceptional. It is very roomy and allows me to work with layers anyway I want. I have had a puffy fleece layer underneath and it still felt like I could add another layer. The waterproofing and Wind resistance has been better than expected. All the pockets are at an appropriate level for what I had to use them for. I have full range of movement from adjusting my helmet and goggles to bending over and adjusting my snowboard straps. The extra length to the bottom of the jacket gets my bottom off the seat of cold chairlifts and snow which is a big plus. With that note though, this was also the only negative thing I could say about the jacket. It felt like the bottom hem of the jacket was just a little bit too tight once it passed my hips, sometimes I would have to wiggle the jacket up just past my hips to lessen the tightness. Overall I am very very happy with this purchase and am looking forward to more days on the mountain with this jacket.
