Different fabrics for different colors
I ordered the lavender heather men's essential shirt on sale and loved the fabric/fit so I wanted a few more colors. I bought the manzanita, grey heather, black, and calcite shirts and found that the solid colors (manz, calcite, and black) had different fabrics than both heather shirts. The solid colors' fabrics are super thin while the heather colors' fabrics have a bit more weight to them, which was the reason I enjoyed the original lavender so much. I am disappointed in the quality of the solid colors but am keeping the heather.
Comfortable, but stinky
I bought three of the shirts back in May/June. I’ve worn two of them on a weekly basis. They are super comfortable to wear around the house or a campsite. But… they stink once any amount of sweat (perspiration) hits them. I’ve worn them on some 4-6 mile runs as well… I know I sweat, but these things retain odor, even after washed or thrown in the dryer or even hung dry. I have other OR clothing/shirts/coats and none of them, even a OR insulated shell I have smell or retain odor like these.
"Essential" - the name says it all
I've been using the Essential Tee for a few months now, and it truly lives up to its name. It's a great shirt for travel, as it wicks sweat without getting stinky, but still looks good with a pair of jeans. I can also reduce my packing by using it for daily wear one day and a run the next day. When I'm not traveling, I've used it as a workout shirt for running, weight lifting, and yoga - the dialed in fit and the material make it versatile for most activities across a range of conditions.
Favorite shirts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for some hot weather t-shirts that could be worn in casual and/or active settings. These shirts are great! They are lightweight and do a pretty good job wicking moisture and keeping you dry. I have this shirt in multiple colors, and would absolutely recommend them. I am typically an XL but bought these in XXL for a looser fit and am glad I did. I would absolutely recommend these shirts.

I love the weight, quick-drying material, and versatility of this shirt. It's something you can wear on a hike, to the gym, or in very casual settings with no problem. If anyone were to ask me personally, I would say yeah get it.

Very comfortable shirt
Really nice. Fits good, looks good. Feels comfortable in the heat. The only thing is this is the type of fabric that seems to hold stink a little bit.

These are my go-to shirts for travel. They pack small, dry quickly and are very comfortable with a lot of stretch. Great for casual wear and hiking.
