Unisex, not women's
These are listed as women's socks, but the packaging and fit are unisex. They don't fit as well as women's socks if you have small or narrow feet. They also had some pulls in the fabric. Smartwood quality is going downhill.
Great for hiking in the damp woods
In the PNW we can have spells where the temperature can be mild, but there is a chill from the dampness of our rainy seasons. These work perfectly with my hiking shoes, keeping my feet cozy and ankles warm. I wear them with both my Trail Runners and Trail Shoes. I count on the socks to wick away moisture and have never had an issue with blisters or chafing when wearing them.
