Poor design could be improved....
Hey Design team, how about adding 2 guy loops at the bottom and 2 at the top of the bag plus a second smaller hoop over the feet with the ability to guy out each end and then you would have a suitable, stable lightweight shelter that could be guyed out and wouldnt budge…..as it is the current design is a loose fitting, floppy design that leads to a poor nights sleep and is not worth the money at the price point. Top entry would be a bonus as opposed to end entry as well!
Lightweight, Comfortable, and Quick to setup
I've had mine for 2 or 3 years now and used on a number of backpacking and motorcycling trips. I'm quite happy with it, with some minor complaints. Normally used in conjunction with a tarp shelter if it's raining but the waterproofing is sufficient for light drizzle. I'd be concerned about staying dry in medium - heavy rain as the material rests directly against the sleeping bag. The plastic tab to roll up the head/shoulders area broke on the first use, I ended up fixing it with a safety pin. It's a very thin fabric and due to the lack of a 2nd arch in the toe box as other reviews have pointed out, the footbox of my sleeping bag can feel damp in the mornings, however I wouldn't call it wet or soaked. On multi day trips, it dries out quickly after setting it up again for the night and is always dry by the time I'm ready for bed. Setup is a breeze, and it's far lighter than even a 2 person tent. I plan to keep mine around for as long as I can.
Needs an arch at the bottom to breathe
It definitely lacks another arch at the bottom end, the sleeping bag gets wet even having the entry fully open, it would weigh no more than 30g if made with carbon fiber as the used on kites and the quality perceived would increase dramatically, the air would be able to circulate all along and the sleeping bag would be able to breathe as it should
