I bought this hoody about two months ago and love the color, material, and style. I have worn it few times on long day hikes in the winter/spring. I am 5’9, 130 lbs and a M fits me well. I have broad shoulders and an athletic frame.

I wear Patagonia Cool Daily crewneck long sleeve and short sleeves on a daily basis. In my tropical and humid climate, these are perfect and super reliable. I decided to try this "Cool Ultra Hoody." My traditional Capilene size: Small. Out of the package: very lightweight. The try on: slim fit, close to the body. If you lift your hands above head.. it looks like big wrinkles across/above the chest area. You have to pull it back down. Since everything is checking my wish list... I can work with that. Perfect for layering, if needed. Hood fits great, close to the head w/o obstructing the eyes. The button adds extra security while using hood or without hood to keep your neck covered. Sleeves: sits at wrist when not using thumb holes. Length: sits a thighs. Patagonia logo tag (at bottom left front) sadly I'm not a fan. It's so small. I love the old school style that really represents the Patagonia brand. Overall size: perfect fit after trying it out for a few weeks. Wash/Dry: washes in cold/mesh laundry bag. Hung to dry. Bonus: the HeiQ® Mint technology to keep the fabric fresh is amazing. Update: I also purchased the Dyno White!
