Yes , I recommend this product

I bought these pants for my upcoming trip to the Dolomites. I tested them out hiking 5 miles on a rainy day. It was drizzling then steady rain the last 1.5 miles. These pants kept me dry the whole way. Unlike other ones I tried on, there are breathable and not noisy. They don't feel like a plastic bag. I'm 5 ' and purchased 0 short. I thought they were a little too long on me at first, but they cover the top of my boots real well and kept my feet completely dry. There were no reviews when I purchased them so I took the chance. I'm glad I have them now for my trip. It's pricey but I used 20% off coupon at REI, so it helped.
