Disappointed

This shoes was unfortunately so uncomfortable, went a size bigger due to previous comments about the fitting of the shoes can be too small. Due to the narrow design at the front it was still small fitted even though I had size up. For me unfortunately the shoes was so uncomfortable after 30mins walk my feet began to pulsate and had to take them off to ease my feet. But I will have to say the waterproofing was fantastic, As I find most products say they’re waterproof but they aren’t. This product definitely keeps your feet dry, it’s a shame the product is so uncomfortable to wear.

Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience with the Konseal GTX Shoes. We’re sorry to hear the fit caused discomfort even after sizing up, and we understand how frustrating that can be. The Konseal GTX is designed as an approach shoe, meaning it has a stiffer construction and narrower fit to provide precision, stability, and durability on technical terrain like rocky trails and scrambles, which can feel less forgiving during longer casual walks. While the waterproofing you noted is part of that performance‑driven design, if your primary use is extended walking or hiking, one of our hiking or trail shoes may offer the cushioning and comfort you’re looking for.

Comfy, dry but questionable traction

So far they're comfy and keep my feet dry in the wet dewy grass. I did notice that in the frost the toe box had no traction at all so that's a tad worrisome. Won't be wearing in snow.

Not waterproof

I wore my Konseals for the first time yesterday , walking over mixed terrain. Comfort was excellent , traction was excellent. However, waterproofing faulty. I stepped into a boggy area and water immediately seeped in from the top surface of the shoe at the junction of the tongue to the body of the shoe, at about the third lace loop down from the toe. On checking, this area has not been stitched completely and I can push my finger through a hole there. It’s the same on the other shoe. So unfortunately, not waterproof due to faulty stitching.

Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience with the Konseal GTX Shoe. We’re sorry to hear that water entered so quickly during your first outing. The Konseal uses a bootie‑style GORE‑TEX construction, meaning the waterproof membrane sits inside the shoe as an internal liner; this keeps your feet dry in wet conditions, but if the shoe becomes submerged above the membrane line, moisture can still make its way in from the top opening or through exterior materials that aren’t sealed. That said, we appreciate you pointing out what you noticed at the tongue junction, and if you feel there may be more going on with your pair, our after-sale team would be happy to take a closer look. Your feedback is valuable, and we’re grateful you took the time to share it.

Amazing waterproof shoes

This shoes are amazing, simply wonderful! They perform really well in wet and slippery terrain. Afterwords just wiped them clean! I bought my usual 6.5 and they fit perfectly. My arch is narrow so they hug my foot just right. Now, thinking about another pair. Btw the green color is beautiful!

Comfort

First time buying this brand, recommended. Comfortable, keep feet warmth in fall or winter weather, water proof. Will wait for one year to see how’s the qualify of shoes

Waterproof

They are definitely a rigid shoe. Style is lacking but I guess who cares when on a hike to the crag
