Accurate light weight gauge with some UI flaws

Lots to like about this gauge. The swiveling head, backlit display, pressure bleed button, good seal when connecting to presta or shrader valves, light weight. Two flaws: - Units (psi, bar, etc) are shown on the display in such tiny characters as to make them difficult to see without a magnifier - No display hold. So you have to maneuver the gauge and valve in a way that you can see the display while the gauge is connected. Not impossible, but sometimes inconvenient. Other gauges hold the pressure display so you can move the gauge away from the tire to read .

Poorly executed product

I got it after having my second Topeak one fail, looking for one with an easier to read display and 0.1 psi accuracy. The Blackburn one only gives readings in 0.5 psi increments, the bleed button flat out doesn't work, and it takes several seconds to stabilize a reading. On the plus side, the backlit display is actually readable, unlike the Topeak one that failed on me. I returned the Blackburn one to REI.

Easy to use digital tire pressure gauge

The Blackburn Honest Digital Pressure Gauge is great! Easy to use and I like that if the tire pressure is more than the target pressure, the gauge reads out the new pressure while the pressure relief button is pushed, making it easy to hit the desired tire pressure.

Could have a better design

It is difficult to use. I may have missed this "feature", but the pressure measurement doesn't hold on the display. You need to keep it attached the stem to read it. That can be done a bicycle tire, but less easy on a motorcycle or automotive tire.

Great gauge

Perfectly accurate when comparing to another known accurate gauge. Very light, easy to use and perfect size for pack tool wrap.

Half right

I am unable to get a reading when using on a presto valve tube. Works fine on a car tire Schrader valve.
