Salomon  SHKout Core Long-Sleeve T-Shirt - Men's

I’ve experienced the same issue mentioned by another reviewer—one side of the top has started to wrinkle and fray. I’m not sure what’s caused it, but I also own the Salomon Shakeout shorts, and like the other reviewer, I’m beginning to suspect the zip pockets might be the culprit. To Salomon’s credit, they’ve been great and have offered a replacement, which I really appreciate. That said, I’m now hesitant to wear the top with the same shorts again, as I worry the issue could repeat. I’ll probably avoid pairing the two—just to be safe.

Bought a couple of these hoping I could use them as UV shirts on long runs. I don’t need UPF50 and generally find those shirts don’t breathe well and are too heavy. Had concerns based on all the reviews about chafing because the material isn’t very soft, but it is a really nice looking shirt so figured I’d keep at least one and worst case I only wear it for short runs and casually with shorts. After a 4hr easy run in cool, humid weather (60-72F), I agree with the chafing reviews. Had to take it off around mile 15, but was impressed I made it that far given how rough the material is and probably could’ve left it on a few more miles and survived. I’ll probably use these for runs up to 15mi in hot and humid weather, but could see the chafing starting around 8-12mi when sweat output it higher. The shirt breaths and dries really well while you’re in motion, but the rough material and salt will eventually destroy your nipples. Overall, I really like this shirt and just wish the material was softer so it could be used for ultra-distance runs in warm/hot weather. Sizing is accurate. I’m 5’10” 175lbs and medium fits perfectly. If you want it to be baggy, size up.

J'étais un peu inquiet après avoir lu les avis sur ce T-shirt, mais après une sortie running de 30 km, je suis finalement très content de mon achat. Le T-shirt est confortable, il est léger et garde au sec. Coupe impeccable, aucun frottement pour moi. La qualité de fabrication est bonne, pas de marque visible après la course même avec des accros de branches et une chute absolument misérable sur une partie goudronnée, dans un nid-de-poule, où je suis tombé de tout mon poids sur l'épaule et l'avant-bras. Pour info: j'ai 37 ans, je fais 170 cm et 71 kg, avec un tour de poitrine de 99 cm et la taille S me va parfaitement.

Worn for a quick 8 mile loop around the Exmoor National Park. No wind, circa 21 degrees in prime heat of the day and didn’t get hot at all! Will certainly be buying another one for an upcoming ultra.
