Designed to minimize drag and retain cornering control, the Maxxis Dissector 3C MaxxTerra DD tire can be used up front, as a pair or in the rear, depending on rider preference and trail conditions.
- Recommended for dry to loose trail conditions
- Center knobs are all heavily ramped to minimize drag, but they retain sharp, flat edges along their backs to provide strong braking traction
- Small sipes give the knobs additional flexion, increasing their surface area during braking and aiding the transition to the edge blocks when cornering
- A distinct channel along either side of the center knobs, along with ample spacing between all lugs, helps to clear debris
- 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip; ideal for trail riding in all conditions
- DoubleDown (DD) is the Maxxis casing solution for enduro racing and e-bike use
- 2 layers of lightweight 120 tpi casing material are combined with a butyl sidewall insert to create a highly durable tire with more trail feedback than a downhill casing tire
- When set up tubeless, tubeless-ready tires let you run lower air pressures for improved traction, and reduce rolling resistance and chance of flatting compared to using tubes
- Designed in conjunction with Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan
