Great when conditions get loose and muddy, the Maxxis Minion DHR II 3C MaxxTerra DD Wide Trail tire has wide side knobs for support, max traction and cornering grip.
- Rear-focused tire, recommended for all trail use; can be paired with a Maxxis Minion DHF tire (not included) up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo
- Center tread has ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike
- Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control
- 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip; ideal for trail riding in all conditions
- DoubleDown (DD) is the Maxxis casing solution for enduro racing and e-bike use
- 2 layers of lightweight 120 tpi casing material are combined with a butyl sidewall insert to create a highly durable tire with more trail feedback than a downhill casing tire
- Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tire's tread layout and profile on modern, wider rims
- WT tires are optimized for a 35 mm inner rim width but are proven to work over a range from 30 to 35 mm inner rim widths, depending on rider preference
- When set up tubeless, tubeless-ready tires let you run lower air pressures for improved traction, and reduce rolling resistance and chance of flatting compared to using tubes
