Blundstone  Original High Top Boots - Women's

At first, I had a hard time putting them on. I tried the my usual size 8.5, but I struggled to take them off. Then, I went with size 9, and it fit much better. I chose the greenish ones and absolutely love them! The associate was very helpful with sizing and shared great feedback about the boots, which convinced me to make the purchase.

I love these Blundstones. I have a few other pairs. I chose these for several reasons: 1) cute feminine accent 2) these have a more narrow heel than the unisex style and fit my foot better, not so sloppy. To help with breaking them in, I took the advice of a sales associate and covered the top part with a towel and beat it for about 5 minutes with a hammer/rubber mallet. You must use a towel though to cover them to prevent damaging the finish. Tough to get on and off the first few times, but after a week or so, I can stand and kick them off. Super practical, durable, cute and comfy! What's not to like?

I love my boots and am glad a store associate helped me with sizing. I normally wear a 7.5, but I could barely get the 7.5 Blundstones on my feet using both pull tabs. I was advised that half sizes in Blundstones only impact width, not length. I tried an 8 and got a perfect fit. I do have to use the pull tabs to get them on, but it's not arduous. The boots are comfortable out of the box with no rubbing or blisters. I can wear them with thin socks or mid-weight wool. There is some arch support and with light cushioned socks, they are extremely cozy for long walks.

I love these boots! I had been looking at them online for a little ng time but was worried they would not fit me well (long slim foot). Someone told me REI had them in stock so I went in expecting to try them on and be disappointed. They fit me perfectly and comfortable right out of the box! I went home and took a walk in them and had no issues. I love them. I do wear a lightweight sock with them. I think they will last the rest of my life. They seem very well made.

Winter is coming and I'm looking for a stylish, weather-ready boot. This high top seemed like a sure thing. I did read some reviews that stated they were a bit tricky to get on but I figured I would just wear thin socks... But oh my gosh getting my foot into this shoe was a battle. You really get why they put those little loops at the top. Having skinny ankles I didn't think I would have any beef with these, I was wrong. After the workout of getting my foot into the shoe, I found it fit, with plenty of room left in the toe. But walking in them was 'meh' at best. They were more flexible than I expected and pinched my midfoot a bit when I moved. And finally, getting them off, the hardest part of all. The upper is so ridiculously rigid. And those loops only really help when getting them on. Feeling a stepsister of Cinderella's I shuffled back to the counter to promptly return these. Happy that the associate was understanding.

I love Blundstone's so when REI started selling them, I had to get another pair. Very comfortable boots that are rugged and can handle snow if they get wet. They look great with jeans or even a skirt/dress for a relaxed look. Nice sized toe box as I don't like "pointy" or narrow shoes and want to keep my toes aligned as I age. I had the rugged black version and decided to purchase the rugged brown which have a brown/khaki tone. They look great if you like sueded type leather and these boots will only look better with age as it lends character to them. Expensive but worth it because they will last for years.

5 stars for being so comfortable from the start. These work great with my 8”thin ankles, however, being new, I really have to pull hard to remove. Socks stay on though. I’m guessing they will have more ‘give’ with a little time. Thicker ankles, stick with the classic style. These will probably be way too tight. Bought my usual size 9, as with Merrill or New Balance, wearing medium socks. Love the ‘black’ color. More of a charcoal gray and in certain light can have a slight greenish tone. Hope this info helps!

Tried these on in the store to get my sizing right -- I am a true W8 in shoes, but I had to try on a range of these original high tops to find a pair where my ankles could be manouevered in without it being a team effort. I thought I finally found a pair that fit, but ended up coming back to exchange for the Blundstone classics style a few days later. The original high tops are possibly about 5% more stylish, but more than 30% the effort to put on compared the classics, which have a slightly lower sheath and are much more comfortable to slide in and out of!

I've owned the classic versions of these boots for years and haven't had issues with comfort, so must be the narrowness and height of material around the ankle. They look great, but not worth the amount of discomfort experienced when walking, even for short distances

I love these boots!!!! Super comfy. I wear them everywhere I can. One issue. I cannot get them on and off by myself. Either need a shoe horn to get them on and a boot jack (or my husband 😂) to get them off!! I’m hoping in time they will stretch and I won’t need those things. But I love them and would buy them again!!
