Designed to work great on any 76 BCD spider or crankset, the Wolf Tooth Components 76 BCD chainring features Drop-Stop® technology to improve chainring life and allow clearance for mud and debris.
- Fits any 76 BCD crankset or spider
- Replaces the more expensive rings used on SRAM XX1 spiders or other manufacturers' spiders, such as Cannondale; also a great fit on the Specialized Stout crankset
- Patented wide/narrow chainring with Drop-Stop® technology: the wide side of the tooth has max contact on the drive side, which spreads the load and improves chainring life
- The narrow side allows clearance for mud and debris, which reduces friction
- Alternating wide/narrow tooth pattern prevents chain derailment
- Threaded for standard M8 chainring bolts (not included)
- For the XX1 spider, Wolf Tooth recommends 6 mm bolts (or any short M8 chainring bolt)
- For the Stout crankset, Wolf Tooth recommends 10 mm bolts or the bolts that come with the crankset
- If you plan to ride in very muddy conditions, Wolf Tooth Components recommends a chain guide or chain keeper in addition to a clutch-type rear derailleur
- Without these precautions, you may experience chain drops or chain suck
