XTRATUF  Riptide Sandals

Good grip, breathable and perfect fit! I love wearing this for river crossings, around camp, on route to surf and while cold dipping!

I bought these sandals as water shoes for crossing steams on trails. I have several pair of water shoes but am a lightweight backpacker and these were advertised as being 6.1 oz pair. The reviews at different sites online indicated they were well made. They do indeed seem to be well made, but they are not lightweight as advertised. REI is listing the weight as being 6.1oz per pair. The actual weight comes in at 13.2 oz. per pair as per my high end postal scale. That is blatant false misrepresentation on REI's part. Don't believe it.

Weight is 382g (13.5 oz) for 12M shoes, for the pair. The REI website shows the spec at 6oz; these weigh over twice the spec, which was disappointing when I am heading out tomorrow to the Sierra.

I wanted a new pair of something to replace my Oofos to relax in around the house, but wanted to upgrade to something closed toed and would have better traction, wearability, and firmness than what I already had. I work in restaurants and the foot/ankle pain is real! I need something my feet can both be supported and relax in. These are exactly what I wanted! Great fit, super breathable, solid traction, and most importantly, my feet frickin love em! I wear these around the house all the time now! I have 12.5 feet and the 12s fit great!

Took the shoes on a fishing trip to Baja. For the most part they were very good. They handled the notoriously slippery panga decks very well and the ventilation was also more than adequate. The one big downside for me was the lack of any kind of arch support. After the first day, I had to wear an insole, negating the waterproof feature. If you make a pair with a built-in arch support, I will buy them.

I love these! I'm a charter boat captain so I'm on the water everyday and these are my go-to. They keep my feet as dry as possible and offer great support. I walk 5-8 miles a day on our beaches; these shoes don't rub or cause blisters and the sand flows right on out. I receive compliments on them daily.

Have never owned any type of shoe / sandal like this….now I will never not have one of these Riptide pairs. Very comfortable, looks great, and perfect for casual wear all the way to more extreme activities where you want something you can trust to keep you solid and steady on your feet.

These are an awesome option that aren't Crocs and look way cooler and are more sleek. I'm normally a 10.5 or 11 and I bought both the 10 and 11 to see which fit best....the 10's fit PERFECTLY and the 11's were a bit too long for my liking so take that for what it's worth.

I bought these abt a week ago and have had them for a day and I already love them they are light weight and really breathable. I am at the lake a lot so I will be able to test them out a little better but for my initial though these shoes are great and affordable

I absolutely love these things. I honestly wear them anywhere. Super light and super comfortable. Way better than crocs or anything else on the market that I've tried. Just ordered another pair for myself and 2 more for my kiddos!
