Fantabulous
I’ve been wearing Feetures socks with sneakers several years and love them. This is the first time I bought socks to wear with my boots. I’ll preface the next comment by saying I’ve had so many surgeries on my toes that practically every time I have to wear “regular” socks with boots I’m miserable. The Feetures socks are, by far, the best! They stay in place on my toes and around my legs. They keep my toes warm which is a huge plus because they’re generally frigid. I will never purchase any other brand of socks again! Yes, I LOVE them!
I bought 4 different pairs
I bought 4 different pairs and sizes to see what would work the best for me. Both Marino wool pairs were thinner then I expected and felt more like a polyester blend vs wool or cotton. They held every bit of moisture during my 12 hour work day and ended up with wet feet halfway through my shift. After one wash they pilled so bad I wouldn't wear them even if they were comfortable and dry. Maybe the other 2 pairs that are not Marino wool will work better, keeping my fingers crossed.
Merino 10 Cushion Mini Crew
These are perfect for chilly temps, as they go up ankles to keep them warm and dry. Perfect not only for exercise but for casual wear as well. They have great padding, which reduces my foot fatigue. I haven’t tried them for hiking, but used them for my 4-5 mile walks, and they kept my feet comfortable and blister-free. Merino wool is soft and smooth. I will be retiring my other brands, no question.
Good, don’t like the material. Pills easily
The mini crew length is a perfect fit. Their “mini crew” is like a regular crew from any other brand maybe 1” shorter than normal. The compression is good, but I don’t like the merino wool in here. It seems like the material pills very easily. I’ve only worn it once and it’s pilling, gets caught on the shoe material easily so it pulls. I think I’d go for the regular max cushion in the future.
These socks have the quality
These socks have the quality and durability I've found with all the Features socks I've purchased over several years. The Merino 10 Cushion Mini Crews I bought especially for dog walking early in the morning. They really help to take the cold edge off when the temperature is below 30 degrees. In warmer weather they also have a nice cushiony comfort I enjoy.
Great for Winter Golf
Recently purchased these at one of the local running gear stores for winter golf in the Seattle, WA area. The socks are soft and fit perfectly.Walked 9 holes and didn`t have any rubbing, chaffing or bagginess; they fit like a glove. My feet were warm and dry the entire time I was on the wet course. So glad I bought them. I wish they came in other colors !!
Highly recommended!!
I love these socks! The compression keeps my feet supported during long walks or time on my feet. The height of the sock is great for keeping ankles warm in runners and perfect for protecting my ankles when I wear Chelsea boots. I haven't worn them in cold weather but they've kept my feet warm but not hot so far this fall.
Now that I'm wearing Feetures
Now that I'm wearing Feetures for running, I don't want to put on any other socks! I tried the Max Cushion Crew for cool days when I'm outside and on my feet for a while. They are warm without making my feet sweat, provide support, and I appreciate the softness when wearing less forgiving shoes than sneakers.
What sock wizardry is this?!?!
I ran 3 hours just now through 22 degree temperatures in the worst wintery, wet, slushy trail conditions. My shoes were soaked by the first mile. The socks were wet almost the entire time and not once were my feet the slightest bit cold. It’s well worth the investment in my opinion.
These merino socks are the
These merino socks are the best I’ve ever had and I have been buying them for 5 or 6 years now. I wear the short er footie socks in the summer still in merino. My son and daughters families use them exclusively as well. I purchase them as stocking stuffers as well. Great product
