OluKai  Tuahine Sandals - Men's

After purchasing my first pair of OluKai slippers, I couldn’t see myself wearing any other brand. They lasted me over 3 years with almost daily use, and the comfort and quality were amazing. I only wish I could say the same about my newest pair. This time, I decided to go with the Tuahine because I wanted something a little narrower while still keeping that same comfort I loved from my previous pair. Unfortunately, after only wearing them about five times, both slippers started tearing on the left side near the straps. After taking a closer look, it seems the straps were glued on rather than stitched, which caused them to peel away from the sides of the slippers. For a premium brand, this was really disappointing. To make matters worse, customer service has been extremely frustrating. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone by phone, even after requesting a callback that never came. I also tried submitting a warranty claim online and uploading photos through the AI chat system, but it kept crashing during the upload process. After multiple attempts, I was told I would receive an email regarding the issue, but I still haven’t heard back. It’s disappointing because I genuinely loved my first pair and expected the same level of quality and service. But with this experience, I’m honestly not sure if I’d purchase another pair again.

This Tuahine look in the color of Canteen is so versatile in a layed back yet upscale look. It's that wore-in, high quality leather bomber jacket look for your feet in a water proof leather flip flop. Looks great at the beach or at a resort bar at night. Any color shorts or pants goes with this neutral leather look which is why this could be the only show you take on vacation. Comfortable right out of the box. The food bed is butter leather soft with a higher arch and deep heel cup giving a luxurious planted feel. Excellent traction with a firm impact resistanct sole. This type of leather shows wear and minor marks only adding to the character of the distressed leather. For reference, I have medium to wide feet: Sizing is spot on with the Tuahine as I wear a size 11.5 runner and ordered a size 11 in AluKai.

These comfortable leather sandals have super solid soles for some serious stepping’ out! I can even step in a puddle with no worries—they’re waterproof! Once again Tommy Bahama delivers a wonderful product with a style all its own. These sandals are the perfect match for my many Tommy Bahama shirts and pants. They are of such quality and style that I can almost wear them anywhere. The only problem that I have had with these sandals is deciding what color to get them in. I chose black but I definitely plan on re-ordering the other colors. Another win for Tommy Bahama!

The quality of the sandal is great and the leather seems to withstand well to water and weather. However, I am size 10.5 as measured with the shoe size tools in places like Fleet Feet. I have a pair of six year old Olukai and size 11 was my size. I ordered size 11 on this sandal and although it does fit, the fit barely makes it, I should have ordered a 12. I have never thought or had to order a 12 on another shoe brand, so maybe an explanation by Olukai on their sizing is in order.

These are great high quality sandals. I wore Rainbows for years which are also great sandals, but decided to try OluKai this time around. I'm happy I did. These are comfortable and true to size. A lot of reviews mention that they run small, I do not find this to be the case. They are right on target. I wear a size 12 in most she brands, and an OluKai size 12 fits me perfectly.

I bought a gray pair later last year and they were so comfortable that I bought the same thing in brown. Only minor complaint is they show a little more oil/sweat marks and that’s why 4 stars. If first pair, go with darker, because you’re going to wear them a lot.

Fit perfectly. Very attractive, comfortable and cushiony. Good grip on wet surfaces.

Nice looking flipflops. Noticed aome rubbing on the tops of my feet after several hours of wearing. Not sure if comfort will improve or not after break-in period.

Big fan of Olukai brand for quality slippers, boat shoes, and now my first sandals. Quality seems good on first impression, however they seem a bit stiff at first in need of breaking in. I normally wear 11.5 or 12, however I needed to exchange the 12s I ordered as they were both too short and small in the strap area for my feet. First time wearing a size 13 now which seem just right with this model.
