Cotopaxi  Fuego Hooded Down Jacket - Men's

I am very disappointed this product. I bought Fuego Hooded Down Jacket this spring as REI seasonal sale event. I was looking for lightweight down jacket and selected this product because of 800 fills down specs. The product features are attractive; jacket style looks good and actually fit vey well as its size. However, IT IS NOT WARM down jacket at all to windy winter conditions even around 30F degree (just below freezing temperature). Recently I bought another hooded down jacket with only $30 buck at local Costco store, It is warmer than this one. I do not recommend this product. for winter.

I bought one a couple years ago and love it but when I saw they released an all black version, I wanted that one. The sizing is bigger but not in a bad way. I think sizing is more true now, which puts me back into an XL. I’d recommend this jacket for sure. It’s wicked good

Absolutely love this jacket. Super comfortable, warm and compact. I have two of them. Note they run a little large. I usually wear mediums but the small fits properly.

Cotopaxi never disappoints! I bought this jacket for my husband for our trip to Patagonia. He was looking for something warm but light enough to carry in his backpack on our long hikes. This jacket is just perfect: it is a stylish, high-quality item that takes up very little space and provides the comfort and warmth he was looking for. It is an excellent extra layer for long hikes in cold weather - fits perfectly under a windbreaker or as an outer layer. I will buy one for myself as well.

I gave this jacket only 3 stars because although the quality and color are excellent the sizing is completely inaccurate. I wear a medium in outerwear but this medium is AT LEAST a large, if not XL. The sleeves, body length and body of the jacket are enormous. I’d read other reviews that said the same thing and I regret not sizing down initially. I was able to process an exchange relatively easily and I’m eager to get the smaller size because it’s a great jacket! Don’t make the same mistake I did- ORDER A SIZE DOWN! 😁

So I would like to preface by saying that I did measure myself before buying this jacket. I am a woman and normally wear men's sizes because of my wider shoulders. I expected it to be a little wider around my torso because of this fact, but it was way bigger than I anticipated. The hood, upper arms, and back really had a huge amount of extra fabric, even when layering and I knew I was going to have to send it back and try the women's sizes (even though I really loved the burnt red, orange and blue color scheme! It was so close to the primary colors aesthetic I have). I'm sad that this jacket doesn't come in men's XS. Oh well. The fabric is great though and the fact it can be packed down is awesome as well. I am going to try again. At least Cotopaxi has a simple return system in place making it easy for me to get another coat later on.

This is my first puffy jacket since the 90’s with my Starter Jacket. I kinda never liked them until I moved to a colder climate and saw other people wearing this brand and I just really dug the way they fit. They didn’t seem too insanely puffy and looked slim fitting. The material is so comfy and I absolutely LOVE the color scheme of bronze one. I did have to size down though. I believe I want to buy a few of the other editions of this color scheme.
