• Absence of steel point on lower part provides better protection if the axe comes out of position
• Dry pick with 3.3mm taper optimizes inverted positions; Masselotte weights facilitate slotting in and allow you to modify balance and improve inertia of ice axe
• Shape of Masselotte weights is optimized for slotting the pick in cracks
• 4mm thickness of pick makes it strong when slotted and torqued; curve under the head offers facilitated hooking
