Outstanding paddle

I have a shoulder injury and was struggling to paddle for a full day with an aluminum paddle. This paddle is astoundingly light and made a HUGE difference in my ability to paddle. My husband and I traded paddles halfway through the day and we both noticed a huge difference within about 15 minutes of paddling on a lower quality paddle. He liked it so much, we are going to buy another one for him before going to Boundary Waters. Also love the pear grip - I noticed a lot less fatigue in my hands and forearms over paddling on a T-grip paddle. Absolutely worth every penny if you are an expedition paddler.

Very nice paddle

First off this is a great looking paddle, the picture does not do it justice. Mine arrived in flawless condition with no drips, bubbles, or runs in the finish. I like that is has a fiberglass overlay to aid in protecting the blade as well as the epoxy tip. It is smooth and well balanced. I am a strong paddler and this will move some water but is also easy to keep up a strong cadence. I knocked a star for one reason and that is the finish, while durable great looking and smooth I am more of an oil finished guy. I know varnish is probably a better choice but oil just has a different feel to it. I wish I could get this unfinished or with an oil finish applied to it. Other than that this is an excellent choice and will serve you well.

A Fine Paddle

It's a canoe paddle...it does what it's meant to do and looks great doing it. On longer trips the lighter weight does help reduce fatigue.

My paddle is the best tool!

This is the first bent paddle I have used! I love it! It is lite, fits me perfectly, thanks to the store staff! I have been paddling for over 50 years and now a few more!
