Beloved by locals and admired by adventurers nationwide, Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers incredible mountain views, invigorating hiking, and limitless tranquility. On this overnight backpacking trip, we'll experience the cascading waterfalls, meandering trails, and breathtaking vistas that make The Smokies so special. The first day, we'll get fully set up with all the backpacking gear you'll need, then hike our way into our secluded campsite. We'll make camp for the night, enjoy a hearty meal, and relax under the stars. We'll wake up with the sun, enjoy coffee and breakfast, then continue on our journey. Perfect for those who have been backpacking and want to take it to the next level. We'll still cover the essentials of backpacking, setting up a proper campsite, loading a pack correctly, filtering water, and camp stove cooking techniques for those who need to brush up on their skills. This trip is for those with prior hiking experience, as you'll need to be comfortable walking up to 16 miles over two days on uneven terrain while carrying a 35lb pack. All backpacking gear is provided. Dinner, breakfast, trail snacks and beverages are also included. We love this park and we know you will too!
