Join us for a joy ride through Chicago's storied Big Marsh Park, an oasis reclaimed from the steel industry and reinvigorated for community recreation outside. Expert REI guides will outfit participants with top-of-the-line full suspension bikes and a provide a brief skills refresher before we hit the trails. We'll share about the unique history of this area and abundant ecology of the Calumet region. In addition to a paved path, Big Marsh Park offers a variety of mountain bike features that, weather dependent, we can practice our skills on. The length of the ride will be based on the group's abilities, goals, and trail conditions. We can't wait to explore Big Marsh with you!
