Beloved by locals and admired by adventurers nationwide, Rocky Mountain National Park offers pristine wilderness, invigorating hiking and limitless beauty. On this loop hike to Lake Haiyaha, we'll bask in the majestic views of spectacular high peaks while keeping an eye out for the critters that call this area home. The hike to the lake is surrounded by ancient limber pine and giant granite boulders. As we reach the crystal clear water of Lake Haiyaha we'll be offered spectacular views of Hallett and Otis Peaks, each over 12,000'. This hike is perfect for anyone with sturdy hiking boots and a bit of fitness, as you'll need to feel comfortable walking on uneven terrain at about 10,000' for about 7 miles. We love this hike, and are pretty sure you will too!
