Eastside Seattle Walks author Janice King is a writer, fiber artist, walking tour leader, and longtime resident of Seattle's Eastside. She enjoys sharing ideas and inspiration for walking as a way to make a strong connection to our vibrant local communities and beautiful Northwest places. From a country path in Carnation to a riverside walk in Redmond a nearby mountain lake in North Bend to an art-filled urban park in downtown Bellevue the cities and towns in the eastern suburbs of Seattle offer a terrific variety of interesting walks. In this illustrated presentation, local author Janice King will share her knowledge about easy, family-friendly walking routes on the Eastside. See how each route highlights nature, history and public art, providing many fun discoveries along the way.
