Discover the rugged beauty of Capitol Reef National Park and the magic of Bryce Canyon National Park on this adventure-filled 5-day hiking trip complete with iconic trails, stunning vistas, fascinating geology, and comfy accommodations.

Our adventure begins in the heart of Utah's best-kept secret, Capitol Reef National Park. Named after the white Navajo Sandstone domes, reminiscent of the U.S. Capitol building, and resembling the "reef" is the Waterpocket Fold, an impressive geological marvel warping the Earth's crust for almost 100 miles. We'll hike on the park's less traveled trails, taking in nature's grandeur with dramatic panoramas of towering cliffs, deep canyons, and one-of-a-kind rock formations. Capitol Reef's distinct allure and charm will undoubtedly leave you wanting more. After the day's adventures, we stay at a cozy lodge nearby with all the creature comforts of home .

From Capitol Reef, we travel south to the otherworldly Bryce Canyon National Park but first, we'll hike into an amazing desert canyon in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument culminating to a stunning waterfall for a well-deserved swim.

In Bryce Canyon, we spend two incredible days hiking the park's trails that weave their way through this remarkable geological playground. Thousands of vibrantly colored hoodoos (sandstone spires) create a magical landscape unlike any found elsewhere on Earth. Our nights are spent at our private REI Signature Camp. It's camping at its finest with spacious tents and sleeping cots, delicious homemade meals, private bathrooms and showers, and other special touches. Here, the stargazing is unparalleled and after the sun goes down, a local astronomer takes us on a tour of our galaxy using high-powered telescopes to teach us about the planets and deep space objects.

Panoramic views grace the trails of Bryce Canyon National Park.
