Tuna casserole is the kind of meal you can make once and enjoy again for lunch or dinner the next day. It holds up well in the cooler and it's even good cold the next day. It takes less time than you might think to put it all together, but it tastes like a home-cooked meal while you're camping.
Tuna Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 bag egg noodles
- 2 cans tuna
- 2 cups mushrooms, chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 bunch green onion. chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Grated parmesan
- Salt and pepper
Directions
Step 1
Bring water to a boil in the dutch oven and add the egg noodles, cook for about 7 minutes.
Step 2
Drain the water and add in the 2 cans of tuna, mushrooms, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mushroom soup can, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Cover the top with grated parmesan cheese and 'bake' over the fire for 30 minutes.
