Sidney Baptista
Sidney Baptista is an entrepreneur and community advocate who is passionate about leveraging running to create experiences and connect diverse communities.
He is the founder & CEO of PYNRS Performance Streetwear, the first and only Black-owned running apparel company in the country. Before creating PYNRS, Sidney founded PIONEERS Run Crew, a Boston-based running community with the mission of normalizing and promoting the sport of running within communities of color.
Sidney is widely recognized for being a catalyst for change in the running community of his hometown, Boston, Massachusetts, and has been highlighted by Runner’s World, NBC, ABC, NPR and BBC News.
