Katie is an orchestrator and story gatherer at Story Gorge, the film, photography, and education business she and her husband own in their beloved Columbia River Gorge. She was previously a science communicator at Conservation Biology Institute and writes about science, nature, urban farming, and small home living. REI member since 2006.
