Edie Nugent
Edie Nugent is freelance writer based in New York City. A staff writer at The Comics Beat, she’s written for Common Sense Media, Weird Tales magazine and Geek & Sundry. She’s loved the outdoors since spending a month every summer on a platform tent in the woods in Ivoryton, Connecticut, from the ages of 7 to 14. She was an Urban Park Ranger in several of NYC’s parks as a child, where she delighted in finding the wild places in the world’s greatest concrete jungle. REI member since 2021.
