Chris Van Leuven lives with his boxer Fenster (aka Brown Pants) in a small cabin in the woods above Boulder, Colorado. His home is surrounded by steep singletrack, rocky cliffs and, at the end of the driveway, endless smooth pavement perfect for cycling. Van Leuven grew up running, mountain biking, and climbing in Marin, California, then moved to Yosemite for 10 years. His work is featured in “Best American Sports Writing 2016.”
