This is A BRIGHT-LIGHT!!

This new generation of LED is amazing! If you have not stepped up from the first generation, you wont regret it. It is a little pricey for a torch but it is worth every penny. Best of all I think Coast should be advertising this as a "Green" torch since it is rechargeable!

would expect more for the price

looses its brightness VERY quickly...even with a full charge. Had hoped to use for car camping; but now just leave it plugged in, in the kitchen for brief uses.
