Romp it downhill at Whistler or rip it over a tight single track. With the rugged, smart Novara® Method 2.0 you rule any terrain.
- Method 2.0 comes ready to rock: Oversized AN6 tubing, Harmony 6.0 full suspension, Avid Juicy hydraulic brakes—high-end performance all the way
- And there's so much more, from muscle-bound rims to a performance SRAM shifting system that's second to none
- 4-Bar rear end harmonizes everything you want in full-suspension design to maximize traction, pedaling efficiency, control and comfort
- Oversize cartridge bearings at every pivot point withstand twisting forces of aggressive trail use and improve aft stiffness for more precise steering
- Plus, the low-friction pivot points transfer the hard jolts of the trail into the rear shock instead of the frame and up the rider's spine
- Redesigned for 2007, the Harmony platform lets you increase maximum rear travel from 4.5 to 6 inches to suite your cross-country or downhill needs
- Simply rebolt the rear shock—it's the premium RockShox Pearl 3.1—to one of two mounting points on the rocker bar and you're good to
- Stiffness built throughout the stays, drop outs, main pivot yoke and bottom bracket shell provides blistering acceleration and total climbing power
- Overbuilt and lightweight, RockShox Pike fork provides 95mm - 140mm; leave it on the high side to handle the roughest landings
- Or adjust it down to lower the front end and enliven steering; U-Turn capability lets you dial in travel to either end or any point in between
- Motion Control in both shocks knows when to flow and when to lock, absorbing bumps without loss of pedaling efficiency; tunable to user's satisfaction
- Method's downtube is a beefy 2mm thick, oversized and double-gusseted to withstand stresses exerted when launching, landing and carving turns
- Lightweight, high-strenth Syncros DS rims and Factory hubs and super-sticky Kendra tires provide unsurpassed traction, control and durability
- Burly 20mm Maxel front skewer, with quick release, withstands the stresses of 140mm travel; 10mm rear skewer increases stiffness of Harmony rear end
- Avid Juicy hydraulic brakes are nothing if not total downhill stopping power; 7-inch rotors enhance braking efficiency and heat dissipation
- Brake pad contact adjusters let you set braking initiation where you like; they're mounted on the brake levers for setting quickly on the fly
- High-end SRAM shifters and derailleurs provide superb responsiveness, so the gear you gotta have is never more than a thought away
- SRAM nine-cog cassette with its stiff alloy three-arm spider and Truvativ triple chainring crankset combine for 27 speeds
- Details make all the difference—the Wipperman 909 chain features the Connex link for easy shop maintenance and fast field repairs
- And its brass color looks stunning against the Method 2.0's understated matte black finish
- For all its advanced features and heavy-duty components, at approximately 32.5 lbs., the Method 2.0 is featherlight for its class
